During the next few days I'm going to be listing my entire book collection for sale on ebay (I started like 2 days ago). All the signed/limited hardcovers, all the chapbooks, mass market paperbacks, everything. They are all going up for sale. Don't ask me why, because I seriously don't want to talk about it.
If your interested in bidding on any of them, my ebay ID is Ph0etus (with a zero, not an o). Or you can click on this link... http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQrdZ0QQsassZph0etus
All my auctions start at only $1.00 with no reserve.Current Mood: tired Current Music: Glass Casket

I'm going to be buying my new keyboard sometime in the next few days. I'm going to be spending out a little over $3,000 on the new Fantom X8, it's expensive but it's worth it.
My band just got hooked up with a free 1,000 watt PA. It's badass... and it was free.
Aaron... If you read this... I need your email address. I tried calling you like 3 or 4 times but I couldn't get through. If you want to give me a call my cell phone number is 938-2985.
Maria and I are probably moving into the new apartment on the 28th (hopefully).Current Mood: bored Current Music: I Once Was A Beautiful Belle

I haven't updated this thing in a long time.
We finally got the band together, we just need a better drummer (not to talk shit about the one we have). I'm doing vocals and keyboards, Adam is doing vocals also, Tony is playing guitar, Rusty is playing bass, and Ben is our (temp) drummer. The shit we're doing is a mixture of industrial and black metal, but it's fucking crazy. I'm rambling a bit because it's 5 in the morning and I haven't slept in like 3 or 4 days.
In about a week or two Maria and I will be moving into our apartment, so I'm looking forward to that.
A few days ago I got shot in the chest. Luckily it was just a flesh wound and didn't cause much damage, it hurt like a bitch though. But instead of cleaning it I just changed my shirt and went to the show at the spider trap. Girl Scout played an awesome show, like they usually do. Skin Casket got a new drummer who is fucking amazing. I'm going there again this saturday. Girl Scout is playing again, Dejection might be playing but I can't remember. I can't remember any of the other bands that are going to be playing, but I'm going just to see girl scout so I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot anyway.
But since the last time I posted not a whole lot else has changed.Current Mood: bouncy Current Music: Cradle of Filth - Suicide and Other Comforts

I don't know how many of you know this yet, but for the past few months my good friend and co-worker Jesse and I have been trying to work out the details to start publishing a magazine dedicated to predatory fish. Well, it's not going to happen. What we wanted to do was pack as much information as we possibly could into each magazine, get them printed relatively cheap, then give them away for free. The point of the magazine was to better educate aquarists about the natural history, conservation, basic captive husbandry and breeding of predatory fish. You wouldn't believe how many people I've seen buy baby arowanas, or clown knives even, and go home to put them in their 10 gallon community tank (no matter how many times I warned them against it). I've even had people tell me about how their house got flooded because their red-tail catfish (or channel cat, or knife fish, etc. etc.) broke the glass on it's tank. I honestly even had someone get pissed off at me because I refused to sell them a panther grouper to go in their 29 gallon (before trying to buy the fish he had mentioned he didn't have any plans, or the money, to set up a larger, more expensive, tank. Especially not one of the 200+ gallons this particular fish would need.) I just hate seeing the fish have to suffer because of an irresponsible keeper. That's why we wanted to give these magazines away for free, and just hope the people would actually take the time to read them. But, as things turned out, we're not going to be able to afford it. We both have lives, I have a kid, and neither of us have the money to do something like this.
What we are going to be doing instead is a free online magazine. Anyone with internet access can easily print off an information sheet for the fish they are interested in. We are also going to have forums where people can further discuss any questions they have, and basically just have fun talking about fish. We're going to try to get the website up and going as soon as possible. I still have to register the domain name and pay for the hosting, but we should have most of the site up in about a week or so. We're writing all of the care guidelines and articles ourselves, so it may take some time before we have a serious amount of information available, but it's going to be a lot of fun and hopefully everything works out.Current Mood: bored Current Music: Lacuna Coil

For the next few days I'm going to be working on giving this journal a face-lift, along with building a new website. My last website was shut down and banned, so we'll see how things work themselves out this time. |
